Phase 1


Phase 1 is all about orienting yourself towards the practice and training yourself up. In Siddhartha, the main character goes on a journey to find the truth because he can't find lasting satisfaction in the world or circumstances he lives in. If you don't have that feeling of dissatisfaction with the things that life can offer then you probably won't have the urgency to explore meditation or other spiritual practices. Ultimately, understanding this dissatisfaction is what will give us the most contentment in the long run.
